Who is Mrs. quackenbush?
Moving to South Carolina has been very exciting! After living in Maine for most of my life, and teaching there my entire career, my family and I relocated last July. I have a Master's degree in Special Education, and taught K-3rd grade for about seven years. I used my Elementary Education degree to teach third grade for four years. Also, I'm a certified children's yoga teacher. I am an advocate for children's health, and strongly believe in the connection between healthy habits and academic success.
This year, I've taken some time to focus on my writing career, while working as an instructional aide in a K-5 classroom. Although I've enjoyed both, I'm excited for this new opportunity to teach fifth grade students.
Miss Horvath has said wonderful things about your children, and I will do my very best to uphold expectations and maintain an active love of learning for the remainder of the school year. Thank you for your support during this transition, and do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have. [email protected]
